Best Homecare for Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion remains one of the most popular treatments clinics, spas and salons offer in Australia and New Zealand.
Microdermabrasion resurfaces the skin by removing the build-up of dead cells (called hyperkeratinisation). Note - It's important not to over-exfoliate or have micro treatments too often as this can cause further hyperkeratinsation as the skin will produce extra cells to protect itself.
A DIY Guide to Microdermabrasion
So, what could you use at home to take your micro or peel treatments to the next level?
We have a daily serum that you can use at home called Glycocure Retexturising Booster that will gently exfoliate the skin daily and help to resurface the skin. It reduces scarring or imperfections, sun damage, uneven skin tone and thickened skin.
To give your skin a “mini micro” at home once a week, we would recommend using the Glycocure Exfoliating Mask. You just pop it on as a mask leaving in place for five to eight minutes or until it dries. And then gently roll it off the skin.
